Day Eleven: Putzing around Lincoln Park

Screen Shot 2014-03-11 at 10.01.38 PMIt’s rare that I adventure out during the week.  Maybe it’s old fashioned, but I typically view the weekend as the time to go out and about, shopping and eating.  But today was an exception.  A new video game came out and the boyfriend wanted to go get it at Game Stop.  There used to be a Game Stop a few blocks from out apartment, but it closed up and turned into a Dunkin Donuts.  The next closest Game Stop is in the loop, but we decided to take the L to the one on Clark Street in Lincoln Park.  We did this mostly so that we could stop and eat dinner at a place called Kuma’s Too, the little brother of Kuma’s Corner.  These restaurants are burger joints and honestly some of the best burgers I’ve had anywhere.  All the burgers are named after different metal groups.  There is a Metallica burger, a Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and several others.  I meant to take a picture of the menu or something, but I was way to focused on scarfing down my Mastodon burger.  So instead, a picture of the Diversey L station, which was instrumental in getting us to a midweek burger treat.
